EQUIPMENT PROCESSING DESCRIPTIONS

All of the following are basic descriptions of the types of equipment processing offered for sale.  The terms of sale are set forth in the Quote for any particular sale and the terms of the Quote control and supercede any of the following descriptions.

“AS-IS” EQUIPMENT
No work will be performed on this equipment.  Russell T. Bundy Associates, Inc. sells two types of “As-Is” equipment:

1. “As-Is” from our storage facility - this price includes dismantling, as necessary, and loading on transports.  Many times this equipment will have been cleaned before the equipment is placed in our inventory.
2. “As-Is” from location - equipment is still at its original operating location. This price does not include dismantling and loading. Services such as cleaning, disassembly and loading of the equipment, may be negotiated at an additional cost.
   No warranty is provided on “As-Is” equipment.

SERVICED & OPERATIONAL (“S & O”)
The equipment is cleaned.  Any repairs we deem appropriate to make the equipment operational will be made.  Certain product belts may be replaced.  Electrical controls and motors will be checked and repaired as we deem appropriate.  Lubrication points will be serviced.  The equipment will include a wiring diagram and a manual when available.  Additional options, such as sandblasting, painting, voltage changes or other special requests may be negotiated at an additional cost.
No warranty is provided on “S & O” equipment.  There is a right to return the equipment within thirty (30) days of its shipment in the event a Customer is dissatisfied, or an appropriate repair may be discussed, unless the equipment has been subject to abuse or misuse.  The Customer is responsible for equipment removal costs upon installation and cost of equipment transportation to our facility in Urbana, Ohio.

RECONDITIONED
This equipment is dismantled and cleaned.  The equipment will be sanded or sandblasted and painted.  Any repairs, we deem appropriate to make the equipment operational will be made.  Certain product belts may be replaced.  Electrical controls and other mechanical components will be checked and replaced as we deem necessary.  Motors and gear reducers will in most cases be reconditioned.  Lubrication points will be serviced.  The machine will be operational.  For machinery reconditioned, a 90 day warranty is offered on all parts only.  The equipment will include a wiring diagram and a manual.

REMANUFACTURED
This equipment is brought into our shop, completely dismantled and painted.  All parts in a compromised condition will be replaced and all wear items such as bearings, seals, chains, sprockets, shafts, ...etc. will be replaced with new.  Motors will be rebuilt or replaced as we deem appropriate.  Electrical controls will be new (unless specified otherwise) and include the latest safeties.  Gear reducers will be rebuilt or replaced with new.  The equipment will be updated to the latest safety standards permissible.  The equipment will be in operating condition.  The equipment will have a (1) year limited warranty on parts.  The equipment will include a wiring diagram and manual.
