Russell T. Bundy, Founder
Russell T. Bundy is one of the most prominent people in the baking industry. He started his career with Ekco/Glaco, then one of the country's leading manufacturers of baking pans and suppliers of coating services. By age 25, Russ had risen to become the company's national sales manager. The entrepreneurial spirit ran deeply in Russ and it soon beckoned him to launch the first of several businesses that would become synonymous with the industry that he loves.
Today, the Bundy companies include Russell T. Bundy Associates, Inc. the leading remanufacturer of commercial baking equipment and supplier of used baking pans; Pan-Glo offering superior silicone coatings and pan maintenance services to commercial bakers throughout North America and Mexico; American Pan Company, the premier commercial baking pan manufacturer; and DuraShield, offering a revolutionary flouropolymer pan coating applicable to both bakeware and cookware.
Russ is an ardent supporter of organizations and causes important to him. His philanthropic efforts include support for medical research, schools of his choice, as well as Central College Presbyterian Church in Westerville, Ohio, where he has served in layman leadership roles.
As founder, Russ leads by example, encouraging all of his employees to reach their full potential and fulfill their deepest ambitions. He believes in sharing the success of his enterprises with those who contribute to their growth.
One of Russ's long-time passions has been to collect the memorabilia and historical artifacts of the baking industry. To that end, he has created a remarkable museum dedicated to his collection, which is housed in Urbana, Ohio. The Bundy Museum of the Baking Arts is indeed a fitting tribute to the industry that has fueled Russell T. Bundy's entrepreneurial passion for more than 40 years.
